Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer performs on ‘America’s Got Talent’ 2017 live show with new puppet Oscar [WATCH]

Child ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer performed Tuesday night on the first live show of “America’s Got Talent” 2017, and she brought the house down thanks to her new puppet, a mouse named Oscar. “Ever since you got the Golden Buzzer, I’ve fallen in love with Mel B,” whispers Oscar, referring to the “AGT” judge who anointed her with the Golden Buzzer back in the auditions. When Farmer informed Oscar that he can’t be in love with Mel B because he’s a mouse and she’s a human, Oscar retorted back, “Well, I didn’t think that would be an issue. I mean, Heidi Klum was married to a Seal!” Farmer closed out the first Season 12 live show of NBC’s long-running reality TV program, following 11 other talented acts at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

Farmer’s puppet Oscar continued, “So, I’ve decided to sing her a song and tell her how I feel. Hit it! Mel B? This is for you, baby.” Oscar then launched into his powerhouse rendition of The Jackson 5‘s “Who’s Lovin’ You,” which had the audience and judge — Mel B, Klum, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell — jumping up to their feet.

The most captivating thing about 12-year-old Farmer is that she doesn’t just tell jokes and she doesn’t just sing, but she does it all while also performing her ventriloquism routine. It’s no wonder that she’s predicted to win “AGT” Season 12, according to our readers. Who do YOU think will win “Americas Got Talent” 2017?
