‘Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’ skewers ‘The Trump Whisperer’ & his possible link to Nazis [WATCH]

“Back in November when millions of people who knew better voted a mercurial, dunderheaded real estate agent into the White House, [the promise that Donald Trump would hire the ‘best people’] helped them sleep at night,” said Samantha Bee in the March 22 episode of “Full Frontal.” “Let’s meet another one of those ‘best people’: White House counterterrorism ‘expert’ Sebastian Lukacs v. Gorka. He’s got a cruise-ship magician’s facial hair and the president’s ear.” But like everything else in the Trump administration, all is not what it seems with the so-called “Trump Whisperer.” Watch Bee’s profile above.

“I’m not a counterterrorism expert,” Bee admits, “but people who are think Gorka is full of shit.” She quotes Georgia Tech professor Lawrence P. Rubin who says that Gorka “is not considered a terrorism expert by the academic or policy community.” And it turns out Dr. Gorka “has published as many papers in peer-reviewed academic journals as ‘Doc McStuffins’ … For his thesis Gorka read the Koran in English and some secondary sources, and watched ‘Charlie Wilson’s War,’ which makes you an authority on Islam in much the way that watching a Chinese bootleg of ‘Rogue One’ makes you an astronaut.”

But wait, there’s more. Gorka’s terrorism expertise isn’t the only thing that’s questionable. Bee adds, “Members of the Hungarian far-right nationalist movement were super psyched when Gorka celebrated inauguration night by going on Fox News wearing the regalia of the Hungarian Order of Vitez, which the State Department lists as a Nazi-linked group.” Members of that group also adopt a lowercase “v” as a middle initial, just like Gorka does — “What a coincidence!”
