The Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. voted over the past week, and the 2017 winners in all film and television categories were announced on the live program hosted by Jimmy Fallon. How do you feel the more gentle emcee went over with the crowds after four years with the caustic Ricky Gervais and three with the comedy duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler? Four of last year’s film champs — Leonardo DiCaprio (“The Revenant”), Brie Larson (“Room”), Matt Damon (“The Martian”), and Sylvester Stallone (“Creed”) — returned to present new winners with their trophies. Other past Globe winners set as presenters included Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Annette Bening, Steve Carell, Jessica Chastain, Laura Dern, Hugh Grant, Jon Hamm, Goldie Hawn, Nicole Kidman, John Legend, Eddie Redmayne, Sting, and Reese Witherspoon.
