Last year’s Golden Globe winner for Best Film Drama Actor, Leonardo DiCaprio (“The Revenant”), will return to the stage this Sunday to present an award. He is one of 14 newly-announced presenters for the NBC ceremony to be hosted by Emmy winner Jimmy Fallon (“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”) at 8:00 p.m. ET; 5:00 p.m. PT on January 8.
Among the others unveiled, music superstars John Legend, Sting, and Carrie Underwood will also be part of the live show. Legend and Sting are past Globe winners, as are presenters Annette Bening and Hugh Grant. Others newly added are Casey Affleck, Pierce Brosnan, Naomi Campbell, Ben Foster, Felicity Jones, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, and Kristen Wiig.
Past Globe champs previously announced as presenters include Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Steve Carell, Jessica Chastain, Matt Damon, Laura Dern, Jon Hamm, Goldie Hawn, Nicole Kidman, Brie Larson, Eddie Redmayne, Sylvester Stallone, and Reese Witherspoon. Of all the ones on the show, current nominees are Affleck (“Manchester by the Sea”), Bening (“20th Century Women”), Chastain (“Miss Sloane”), Damon (“Manchester by the Sea” producer), Grant (“Florence Foster Jenkins”), Kidman (“Lion”), Reynolds (“Deadpool”), and Stone (“La La Land”) along with Viola Davis (“Fences”) and Mandy Moore (“This Is Us”).
The remainder of the presenter list so far: Kristen Bell, Priyanka Chopra, Gal Gadot, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Kendrick, Diego Luna, Sienna Miller, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Timothy Olyphant, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Amy Schumer, Justin Theroux, Vince Vaughn, Milo Ventimiglia, Sofia Vergara, and Carl Weathers. More presenters will be announced before Sunday’s show.
