Independent Spirit Awards 2017 winners: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users

Congratulations to our User Anthony Hajek for a perfect score of 100% when predicting the 2017 Independent Spirit Awards winners on Saturday. He is the only perfect person and also has a great point total of 3,462 by using the 500 super bets wisely.

Over 1,500 people worldwide predicted these winners for 13 Spirit categories. Our top scorer got all of those categories correct, even with surprises such as Isabelle Huppert for “Elle” (Best Actress), Ben Foster for “Hell or High Water” (Best Supporting Actor), Molly Shannon for “Other People” (Best Supporting Actress), and “Moonlight” (Best Screenplay).

If eligible, the first-place finisher gets a $100 Amazon gift card.

For Gold Derby’s Editors, Tom O’Neil is best with 92.31% correct (12 of 13 categories). Marcus Dixon is next with 76.92% right. We then have a tie between Daniel Montgomery and myself with 69.23%. Rob Licuria follows with 61.54% and then Paul Sheehan with 38.46%. See Editors’ leaderboard.
