Did you watch the season finale of “Dancing with the Stars” and see Jordan Fisher crowned the Mirror Ball champion? Would you just like to relive that moment when he narrowly squeaked past his closest rival Lindsey Stirling to take home the trophy? Watch his coronation as the winner of season 25 above.
Fisher, a Broadway actor known for his roles in “Hamilton” and the TV production of “Grease: Live,” was one of the frontrunners to win season 25 from the very beginning, but for several weeks he was locked in a tight race with Stirling with the two trading the lead back and forth in our users’ predictions. But on “Halloween Night” Stirling was revealed to have suffered a rib injury, and her limited range of motion hurt her scores a bit that night. Meanwhile, Fisher just kept rising, topping the leaderboard more and more often, so that by the time Stirling healed physically Fisher was already much farther ahead, and he never let go of that lead right to the very end.
Overall, Fisher topped the judges’ leaderboard seven times — eight if you count both nights of the two-night finale separately. Along the way he received nine perfect scores, more than any other celeb in “DWTS” history. And he made history both as the youngest male winner ever at age 23 and as the celeb who won pro dancer Lindsay Arnold her first Mirror Ball after several seasons of trying. And his “DWTS” journey isn’t even over because it was announced in the finale episode that both he and his fellow finalist Frankie Muniz would be joining the show’s live tour.
