Light Balance performs on ‘America’s Got Talent’ 2017 live show: Neon group dances to Jason Derulo [WATCH]

Dance group Light Balance performed Tuesday night during the Quarterfinals 2 episode of “America’s Got Talent” 2017. The dancers haven’t been seen since the early auditions, when host Tyra Banks honored them with her Golden Buzzer. Due to a technical gaffe, the light-up dance crew’s dress rehearsal video had to be shown to the crowd, but that didn’t affect the judges’ raves. Watch Light Balance’s “Americas Got Talent” recap video above from NBC’s reality TV show.

This time around, Light Balance performed their neon dance routine to Jason Derulo‘s “Swalla” (feat. Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign). For those keeping track at home, that’s the same song that Brobots and Mandroidz danced to during the Judge Cuts a few weeks ago. During their second song, Derulo’s “If It Ain’t Love,” one of the dancers transformed into a neon werewolf live on stage. Dracula also made a brief appearance at the conclusion of their high-energy performance.

The “AGT” judges were unanimous in their praises of Light Balance’s latest performance. “It looked phenomenal,” Simon Cowell said about their dress rehearsal video that was shown to the audience. “You guys are incredibly creative. Really nice people as well. I am so thrilled that you [chose] ‘America’s Got Talent’ to be the competition that you decided to appear on.”

Howie Mandel added, “Because of what happened, we got to watch it on a screen the way people at home are watching it, the way they’re gonna vote. And if I was at home, I would be on my phone, I’d be on my computer right now voting. That was original, that was amazing.”

“I can see that you’re a little bit disappointed,” Mel B began. “But don’t be!” And Heidi Klum also chimed in that they did a “fantastic job.” Do you think Light Balance will advance despite the technical difficulties? Let us know down in the comments section.
