Mandy Harvey’s final ‘America’s Got Talent’ performance: Will original song ‘This Time’ win her $1 million? [WATCH]

Deaf singer Mandy Harvey performed Tuesday night during the Finals episode of “America’s Got Talent” 2017. As one of the Top 10 “AGT” acts of Season 12, Harvey frequently brings the tears with her backstory and her original songs. Did the 29-year-old artist continue wowing the judges and America with her final song, titled “This Time”? Watch Harvey’s “America’s Got Talent” recap video above from NBC’s reality TV show.

Two of the four “AGT” judges — Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum — gave Harvey a standing ovation, while Mel B and Howie Mandel remained in their seats. Cowell was especially proud, as he is Harvey’s Golden Buzzer mentor. With the $1 million prize on the line, here is what they had to say:

Cowell: “Can’t take much more of this. My emotions, it’s like being in a washing machine. I mean seriously incredible. You know, I have to remind myself and for everyone who’s watching tonight, Mandy, is that you lost your hearing 10 years ago, so you haven’t heard Adele, you haven’t heard Ed Sheeran, you haven’t heard Taylor Swift, and yet your songs and your voice are so current, so amazing. The best compliment I can pay you is, I wanna put your story to one side and just judge you as you are as a singer, and it was amazing. Amazing. I mean really amazing, Mandy. We got so lucky to have all you people on the show tonight, because just what I said to the last person, ‘You could win,’ now I’m thinking, ‘But no, you could win, and you deserve to win!’ It was remarkable what you’ve done, Mandy.”

Mandel: “You know, I think this performance and all your performances on our show and just who you are and what you’ve overcome, there seems to be, i’m getting a vibe from tonight, and the vibe that I’m getting from everybody, and it is hashtag ‘strength.’ And all of you have so much strength to go on, to have somebody without hearing pursue singing, and there are other people that we’ve seen earlier in the night are showing us the same thing, and you’re just part of that. It’s a theme tonight, and it’s all about strength. And it makes me feel so weak!”

Mel B: “Listen, I still have to say to myself, ‘You can’t hear what you sound like.’ Week in, week out that we’ve seen you you’ve been pitch-perfect and you’ve taken us on a journey and your voice is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Tonight wasn’t my favorite performance, but last week it was amazing, so I’m just gonna remember you for your voice and how you sing. And it’s all about song choice, but I love you. I absolutely love you.”
