Congratulations to our User PoweR for a terrific score of 80% when predicting the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards winners on Sunday. He is just ahead of a six-way tie in second place with 73.33% correct — Patrik Sandberg, Solomon Hughes, Cristian Canales Sanchez, Jake, andyshaf, and Erik Michael Giusti. He also had a great point score of 3,796 by using the 500 super bets wisely.
Over 500 people worldwide predicted these nominees in 15 categories for the VMA ceremony held near Los Angeles in Inglewood, California. On an evening with a near sweep by Kendrick Lamar, our top scorer only missed three times — Ed Sheeran for Artist of the Year (he chose Ariana Grande), Khalid for Best New Artist (he chose SZA), and Wyclef Jean for Best Editing (he chose The Weeknd).
