‘Once Upon a Time’ poll results: 54% say their favorite love story is Emma and Captain Hook

A majority of people who voted in our “Once Upon a Time” poll say that their favorite love story on the show is Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue). With 54% of the vote, Emma and Hook more than doubled the second-place couple of Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Robin Hood (Sean Maguire), who came in at 24%. No one does epic love stories better than ABC’s fantasy drama and Sunday’s mid-season premiere, titled “Tougher Than the Rest,” was the perfect example of this. As Emma and Regina tried to get home from an alternate world in which she was never the savior, Emma came across an old, drunken version of Hook with an unkempt white beard. It made her long for her handsome (and sober) suitor back home in Storybrooke.

Meanwhile, Regina met up with the alternate version of Robin Hood and became emotional as it made her miss her dearly departed Robin even more. Her intentions were to just talk with him, but then Emma suggested she bring the alternate Robin out of the fantasy land and into Storybrooke via Pinocchio’s magical tree. How will the Regina/Robin relationship continue going forward?

Other love stories that nabbed votes in our poll include Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) at 15% and “Once’s” version of Beauty and the Beast, Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) with 7%. Sadly, the burgeoning couple of Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) and Violet (Olivia Steele-Falconer) didn’t earn a single vote.
