Sunday’s all-new “Once Upon a Time” episode, titled “A Wondrous Place,” will play like a who’s-who of classic Disney animated films, as Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz), Jasmine (Karen David) and Ariel (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) band together to save Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue). Will Hook be able to make it back to Storybrooke and tell Emma (Jennifer Morrison) that he loves her, or will he be swept away by the sea? Watch the “Once Upon a Time” Season 6, Episode 15 preview trailer above.
When we last saw Hook, he was kidnapped by Gideon (Giles Matthey) just as he was about to return home to apologize to Emma for keeping secrets from her. Gideon transports Hook and Captain Nemo (Faran Tahir) to another realm underwater in the Nautilus, leaving everyone back home thinking Hook left because he was afraid to tell Emma the truth that he killed David’s (Josh Dallas) father years ago. “He just took off,” Emma says in the promo. “I need to move on.”
But the opposite is true. “Emma’s in danger! She thinks that I’ve abandoned her,” says a heartbroken Hook aboard the Nautilus. The clip informs us that a princess (Jasmine), a thief (Aladdin) and a mermaid (Ariel) are Hook’s “only hope of rescuing true love.” How does the trio of Disney heroes all end up aboard the Nautilus with Hook and Nemo? Does Aladdin still have the power of the lamp? And will Gideon’s ultimate plan of killing the Savior be successful?
Find out the answers to these questions and more when the episode airs Sunday night on ABC at 8:00 p.m. Here is ABC’s official plot description of “A Wondrous Place,” which does include mild spoilers:
When Hook finds himself trapped in another realm along with the Nautilus and her crew, he races to return to Emma before Gideon can execute the rest of his plan. In Storybrooke, Regina and Snow take Emma out to get her mind off Hook’s disappearance. And in a flashback to Agrabah, Jasmine befriends Ariel, and together they set out to locate Prince Eric as the threat from Jafar intensifies.
