Shocking Oscar snubs: Amy Adams, Hugh Grant, Martin Scorsese and more

There were several high-profile Oscar snubs when the 2017 nominations were announced Tuesday morning, but these ones below left us with our jaws on the floor. Among the MIA stars are lead actress hopefuls Amy Adams (“Arrival”) and Annette Bening (“20th Century Women”), lead actor contender Joel Edgerton (“Loving”), and supporting players Hugh Grant (“Florence Foster Jenkins”), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Nocturnal Animals”) and Greta Gerwig (“20th Century Women”). Famed director Martin Scorsese (“Silence”) was also left out in the cold, as was “Hell or High Water” helmer David Mackenzie.
