Pompeyo Family Dogs (‘America’s Got Talent’ 2017) exit interview: ‘You make us a better family’ [WATCH]

The Pompeyo Family was one of Simon Cowell‘s favorites of the dozen acts to perform on the second live quarterfinal of “America’s Got Talent.” This talented trio and their troupe of trained dogs performed a jungle-themed routine set to Katy Perry‘s “Roar. However, they did not win enough viewer votes to stay in the competition.

The Pompeyos and their puppies first popped up in the third round of auditions where they won over Cowell and his fellow judges Mel B, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum. They moved on to the next round and survived judges’ cuts by finding favor with this fearsome foursome as well as guest judge Seal.

After being eliminated during the Quarterfinals 2 results episode of “AGT” Natalya and Jorge Pompeyo and their eldest daughter Katerina thanked everyone for their support. An emotional Natyla credited the audience with “taking us to the next level and making us better performers and a better family” while Jorge and Katerina smiled with approval of her comments.
