Season two of the Netflix sci-fi drama “Sense8” premieres on the streaming service on Friday, May 5. The streaming service has debuted a second trailer on the eve of the show’s comeback. And it looks like there’s a big new reveal in these scenes: the introduction of at least one other sensate cluster. Watch the new trailer above.
“Sense8” follows eight men and women from around the world who in the first season discovered that they were psychically linked to each other across the globe. They’re able to share their thoughts, memories, skills and experiences instantaneously, and they’ve been getting better at it as time has gone by. But are they alone?
“Why does Whispers have so many resources?” asks Chicago cop Will Gorski (Brian J. Smith) about the chief villain of the series, who wishes to apprehend and neutralize the sensates. “It has to be because there are a lot more of us. We need to find them.” Then we watch our eight heroes in a fight for their lives against another cluster — a one-on-one battle with 16 combatants.
“Every day brings me that much closer to you,” says Whispers (Terrence Mann). “It is not a game. This is a war.” Watch the new trailer above.
