HBO’s hit show “Silicon Valley” is back for a fourth season that continues the story of new tech company Pied Piper. While Thomas Middleditch‘s hapless CEO Richard Hendricks is the main character, he’s not our pick for the best role on the show. So, who is? Click through our photo gallery above in which we rank the Top 11 “Silicon Valley” characters from worst to best. Do you think we made the right choice in who we put at the top? Be sure to sound off in the comments section and let us know.
“Silicon Valley” began with Hendricks working at a major tech giant, Hooli, and building a music app. When the app turns out to contain an amazing compression algorithm, Richard quits his job to take an investment and build his own company. The show then follows Richard and his roommates/new co-workers as they try to set up the company, Pied Piper, and navigate all the obstacles (self-made and otherwise) the task entails.
While the series has notched a total of 21 Emmy nominations since premiering in 2014, the only cast member to be singled out by the TV academy is Middleditch who contended last year for Best Comedy Actor. He lost to Jeffrey Tambor who earned his second consecutive victory for “Transparent.” Scene-stealer T.J. Miller did manage to earn a Critics’ Choice TV Award in 2015 for Best Comedy Supporting Actor for playing the pompous Erlich Bachman.
