On the fifth live show of “So You Think You Can Dance,” the top 7 each danced three times: once with their all-star partner, a second time with one of their rivals and finally in small groups. One of these finalists did not make the cut as determined by the vote count from last week’s show. Read more about that in our recap of the Sept. 4 episode of “SYTYCD.”
Next week’s elimination will be based on the public vote from this week’s show. Which of the six finalists do you think did the best with their respective all-star? After reading our recap of each routine, vote in our poll below and weigh in with your thoughts in the comments section.
Lex Ishimoto and Gaby Diaz did a hip-hop dance routine choreographed by Luther Brown to Kendrick Lamar‘s hit single “Humble.”
Logan Hernandez and Allison Holker did an African jazz dance routine choreographed by Sean Cheesman to “Kabila.”
Kaylee Millis and Cyrus Spencer did a contemporary dance routine choreographed by Tyce Diorio to “DKLA.”
Kiki Nyemchek and Jenna Johnson did a contemporary dance routine choreographed by Warren Carlyle to “Dancin’ Fool.”
Koine Iwasaki and Marko Germar did a jive dance routine choreographed by Dmitry Chaplin to “Rock Around the Clock.”
Mark Villaver and Comfort Fedoke did a ninja-inspired hip-hop dance routine choreographed by Misha Gabriel to “No Twerk.”
Next Monday “SYTYCD” will continue with the top six dancers before your votes will once again reveal the bottom three, with two pairs being eliminated and the remaining four advancing to the finale. Who is your favorite dancer in the top six and who do you think will be eliminated next week? Sound off in the comments below!
