Of the seven eliminated “Survivor: Game Changers” castaways so far in Season 34, fans say they miss Sandra Diaz-Twine and Malcolm Freberg the most. According to our poll from earlier in the week, Queen Sandra earns leading 50% of the vote while challenge beast Malcolm comes in second place at 30%. Do you agree or disagree with those poll results? Be sure to sound off down in the comments section.
Sandra was eliminated two weeks ago thanks mostly to coming out on the wrong side of a tribe switch. Had the tribes not been mixed up, Sandra would have likely lasted through to the merge. “The only thing that screwed me was picking the wrong buff off that plate,” she explained in our exit interview. “Had I gone to Exile Island or had I gone to the Mana tribe with Hali Ford and Troyzan Robertson and Michaela Bradshaw and Aubry Bracco, we wouldn’t be talking right now.”
As for Malcolm, he was eliminated thanks mostly to J.T. Thomas spilling too many secrets in a crazy double-tribe tribal council. “J.T. and rational thought don’t often collide,” he joked in our exit interview. “I think J.T.’s plan was to tell the other tribe to vote for Sandra. I think that’s what he wanted to do. I don’t know why he told them about Sierra. To my dying day I won’t understand this one. It doesn’t make any sense to me, and that’s where obviously it all falls apart.”
Since Sandra and Malcolm dominated our poll, that means the other five castaways all earned less than 10% of the vote. Tony Vlachos is in third with 7%, Ciera Eastin is in fourth with 5%, J.T. and Caleb Reynolds are tied in fifth with 4% apiece, and Jeff Varner is in dead last with 0% of the vote. As you may know, Jeff was recently fired from his job due to his actions in last week’s episode in which he outed fellow castaway Zeke Smith for being transgender.
