‘Survivor: Game Changers’: Ozzy Lusth breaks all-time record for most days playing game

With the most recent episode of “Survivor: Game Changers” leaving off on Day 16 of 39, Oscar “Ozzy” Lusth has brought his total time competing on the CBS reality television show up to a whopping 120 days, a new record. Ozzy made his “Survivor” debut back in 2006 during the series’ 13th season, “Cook Islands,” where he lasted the full 39 days, finishing second to Yul Kwon. Prior to last week’s episode, the previous record holder was four-time competitor and “Redemption Island” winner “Boston” Rob Mariano, who has spent a total of 117 days on the show.

Ozzy returned for Season 16, “Micronesia: Fans vs. Favorites” in 2008, finishing ninth overall, and adding another 27 days to his tally. His most recent “Survivor” outing prior to his current stint on “Game Changers” was in 2011 during the 23rd installment, “South Pacific,” where he lasted 38 days, finishing in fourth place, one tribal council away from the Final 3.

With only 23 days remaining in the current season, the only remaining player from “Game Changers” who has an opportunity to surpass Ozzy’s total is Cirie Fields, currently sitting at 101 total days. Like Ozzy, Cirie is playing for her fourth time and also has never won. See the all-time Top 20 “Survivor” castaways below, based on the total number of days they played the game.
