CBS’s reality TV show “Survivor” is back for its landmark 35th season, dubbed “Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers.” Once again hosted by Jeff Probst, this latest cycle features three tribes made up of people who fit those distinct lifestyles. The Heroes (courage) include a marine, an NFL player and an Olympian, the Healers (helping others) include a nurse and a physical therapist, while the Hustlers (tenacity) include a personal assistant and a bellhop. Longtime “Survivor” casting director Lynne Spiegel Spillman received her first Emmy nomination this year in the brand new category of Best Reality Casting. The show is also nominated for Best Reality Cinematography and Best Reality Picture Editing at the 2017 Emmys. Throughout its 16-year run “Survivor” has won seven Emmy Awards, including four consecutive for Probst as Best Reality Host between 2008 and 2011.
