“He crossed me. It’s payback time,” says Sandra Diaz-Twine about J.T. Thomas in the preview trailer for Wednesday’s “Survivor: Game Changers” episode, titled “Dirty Deed.” Apparently J.T.’s decision last week to tell the opposing tribe to cast their votes for Sandra may come back to haunt him. Watch CBS’s promo above for Episode 5 and then update your “Survivor 34” predictions in our weekly event.
“They can’t really prove what I said,” J.T. declares arrogantly in the clip. “I’m gonna take it to my grave.” If J.T. is indeed talking about his shady actions at tribal council, then Brad Culpepper may be the only person on the island who knows. J.T. whispered to Brad that Sierra Thomas was his tribe’s target and that Brad’s team should vote for Sandra. That knowledge prompted Tai Trang to use his hidden idol to save Sierra, thereby sending home J.T.’s right-hand man Malcolm Freberg.
Elsewhere in the preview, Debbie Wanner looks to have an emotional meltdown as she yells at Brad, “I was loyal to you, and you crushed my heart!” What could she be referring to? Since Debbie had no alliance to Malcolm, then something must happen in the new episode that prompts her to react so negatively toward Brad. “I got really scared,” says Tai to the camera, as we see a moment of Debbie yelling at Tai, “Not a little! None!”
And it looks like Gold Derby’s predicted frontrunner to win, Sarah Lacina, will finally get some screen time this week. “I’m completely playing this game like a criminal,” brags the police officer. The last time she played in “Survivor: Cagayan” (Season 28), Sarah made a loyal “Cops-R-Us” alliance with fellow officer Tony Vlachos, but she didn’t make it very far. Will her new deceptive outlook on the game be the key to her success?
