‘The Voice’ blind auditions: Jeremiah Miller (‘Slow Hands’) joins Team Jennifer Hudson after she calls him ‘very cute’ [WATCH]

During Night 6 of “The Voice” Season 13, Jeremiah Miller‘s performance of Niall Horan‘s “Slow Hands” caused two of the judges to press their buttons: Jennifer Hudson and Adam Levine. The other two (Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus) remained still. “He’s very cute,” new coach Hudson said about the teenage singer after turning around to face him for the first time. “I hope you know, I just left ‘The Voice’ UK, and I won,” Hudson explained to Miller. But then Levine quickly retorted, “I have won ‘The Voice’ USA many, many times. And we are in America.” See the complete list of “The Voice” winners.

Hudson continued, “To me, it seems as though he has the full package. He’s someone you can build upon. He’s a future star and it’s very clear to me he could be major.” When Miller mentioned that he wanted to “give God the glory,” Hudson responded that her team was full of “very faith-driven people.” That no doubt helped Miller decide to join Team Jennifer, leaving Levine in the dust.

Miller is 18 years old and currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas. Here is his official NBC bio: “Wrestling was Jeremiah’s primary focus growing up. His dad was a wrestler and Jeremiah started wrestling his freshman year. The most difficult part of wrestling for Jeremiah was keeping his weight down and maintaining a healthy diet. He began singing the national anthem at his wrestling meets and discovered he loved singing more than wrestling. After wrestling season was over, he joined bands where he busked and performed at the local malls. He just graduated from high school and put college on hold. With music being his one true passion, The Voice has the power to shape his future.”
