Fans of country music were more than entertained by “The Voice” this year, as several finalists got their roots in the genre. Red Marlow, Addison Agen, Adam Cunningham, Keisha Renee, Ashland Craft and others all found success by dabbling in country music. With so many country artists fighting for attention this season, perhaps they split the vote, which explains why rock singer Chloe Kohanski was named the ultimate winner. Should “The Voice” cater to country fans by doing an all-country music season in the future? Sound off by voting in our poll below.
Original coach Blake Shelton, who was recently named the sexiest man alive by People, is no doubt responsible for the influx of country artists over the years. He’s helped mentor several country singers to championships, including Season 3’s Cassadee Pope, Season 4’s Danielle Bradbery, Season 7’s Craig Wayne Boyd and Season 11’s Sundance Head.
