‘The Voice’ knockouts: Teenage singer Anthony Alexander gives emotional performance of ‘Mercy’ for Adam Levine [WATCH]

Night 3 of the knockouts aired Tuesday night on “The Voice” Season 13, with teenage singer Anthony Alexander performing Shawn Mendes‘ “Mercy” for Team Adam Levine. Alexander was paired up against Hannah Mrozak, with Alexander proving victorious and knocking out Mrozak, though she was later stolen by Jennifer Hudson. Watch Alexander’s winning performance from “The Voice” knockouts above.

Back in his blind audition, Alexander performed “Redbone” and three of the coaches turned their chairs around: Levine, Hudson and Miley Cyrus. The next time we saw Alexander in the battle rounds, he and Michael Kight sang “I Feel It Coming” and Alexander was declared the winner by his coach Levine. Special adviser Kelly Clarkson helped Alexander and all of the other remaining artists in the knockouts. By the end of this round only 20 artists made it to the live shows of NBC’s reality TV program.
