In a big blow for “The Voice” judge Adam Levine, one of his two remaining acts — Adam Cunningham — is predicted to be eliminated after the third live show of season 13 on Dec. 4. Cunningham was in the bottom two in each of the first two weeks of the live shows. In week one, he won the Instant Save over teammate Jon Mero and did likewise against Janice Freeman from Team Miley Cyrus in week two.
Our readers think that each of those artists was more deserving of place in the Top 10 than Cunningham. Mero merited a whopping 95% of your vote for his rendition of The Jackson 5‘s debut single “I Want You Back,” which rose to number one and came from their 1969 album “Diana Ross Presents the Jackson 5.” Cunningham won the Instant Save with his version of the 1969 rock song “Fortunate Son,” which was a big hit for a Creedence Clearwater Revival as the first single from their fourth studio album, “Willy and the Poor Boys.”
Likewise, Freeman was your overwhelming favorite in that face-off, racking up 84% of your vote for her performance of Sia‘s 2014 single “Chandelier,” which cracked the Billboard Top 10 and came from her sixth studio album “1000 Forms of Fear.” Cunningham won with his take on the 1999 country song “Amazed,” which was a big hit for Lonestar as the first single from their third studio album, “Lonely Grill.”
While Levine is likely to down to just one artist, Addison Agen, heading into the Top 8, she is ranked third to win the series behind Chloe Kohanski from Team Blake Shelton and Noah Mac from Team Jennifer Hudson.
