On the second live results show on season 13 of “The Voice,” the bottom two vote getters among the Top 11 artists were Adam Cunningham from Team Adam Levine and Janice Freeman from Team Miley Cyrus. Each had to sing one more song to try and win votes cast by viewers via Twitter.
Cunningham, who had also been in the bottom two last week, was up first and tackled the 1999 country song “Amazed,” which was a big hit for Lonestar as the first single from their third studio album, “Lonely Grill.” Cunningham connected with the lyrics and the viewers and won the Instant Save.
Freeman did herself proud with her rendition of Sia‘s 2014 single “Chandelier,” which cracked the Billboard Top 10 and came from her sixth studio album “1000 Forms of Fear.”
Those watching the show live in the Eastern and Central time zones knew when to vote via Twitter. Fans of either artist in the rest of the country had to rely on social media if they wanted to weigh in with their pick, albeit without having seen the performances.
We asked if you thought that Cunningham deserved the Instant Save more than Freeman and a whopping 84% of you disagreed that he did? If you haven’t voted yet in our poll, watch the two performances by these artists from Team Adam Levine and Team Miley Cyrus, cast your ballot and sound off in the comments section.
