Half of the Season 13 artists are going home on Tuesday night of “The Voice.” The show is eliminating four out of the 8 remaining singers on the next-to-last results show of 2017. Who do you think will be cut and who will make the Final 4 for next Monday’s performance episode?
Here are the remaining contestants: Team Blake Shelton has Chloe Kohanski, Red Marlow, and Keisha Renee. Team Adam Levine has Addison Agen and Adam Cunningham. Team Jennifer Hudson has Davon Fleming and Noah Mac. Team Miley Cyrus has Brooke Simpson.

8:00 p.m. – It is time for the harshest cut of the season as the Top Eight become the Final Four. If the finals were determined by iTunes results alone, it appears the finalists would be Chloe, Addison, Red and Brooke. But Noah, Davon and Adam were right on their heels. Keisha seems to be heading into the night at the biggest disadvantage. With that said, iTunes sales are only a small portion of the overall votes. Who will win the season’s most important instant save? Let’s see who moves on!
8:05 p.m. – The top eight artists joined Carson on the stage to find out who will be the first finalist of Season 13. The first artist saved by the votes is, from Team Blake…Chloe! That makes 12 out of 13 seasons Blake has had an artist in the finals. An outstanding feat for the veteran coach.
8:15 p.m. – Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors and BeBe Rexha dropped by “The Voice” stage to perform their new hit single, “Home.” The entertaining set proved why the song has become one of the most streamed videos on the internet in recent weeks.
8:16 p.m. – A highlight reel of Season 12 winner Chris Blue from Team Alicia Keys showed what he has been up to since taking home the title last spring. It is nice to know this talented vocalist has maintained his relationship with his coach. He will be performing his first single next week on the live finale.
8:18 p.m. – The second finalist is….Addison! The youngest remaining artist advances, making it 11 out of 13 seasons Adam has had an artist in the finale.
8:26 p.m. – Jennifer got back to her day job, taking the stage to perform her latest single, “Burden Down.” She’s accompanying herself on the piano, which I don’t think I’ve seen her do before. Her soaring vocals on this emotional ballad display why she is one of the most celebrated vocalists of this generation. Barefoot, she steps away from the piano and continues the performance a capella. She was nearly in tears by the end. Bravo!
8:27 p.m. – The third finalist advancing to next week’s finale is….Brooke! This marks Miley’s first artist ever in a finale.
8:36 p.m. – Carson announced there will be a Vegas residency at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas featuring artists from past seasons of the show. A fantastic idea considering so many of these artists have become nearly unheard from since their days on “The Voice” stage. I apologize for not catching the names of all of them, but Season 10 champ Alisan Porter strutted out as the centerpiece of this cast of “Voice” alum. This season’s champ will join the lineup.
8:40 p.m. – The three artists competing for the instant save are: Adam, Noah and Red! Unfortunately, that means Keisha and Davon have been eliminated.
8:46 p.m. – First up singing “Dixieland Delight” from Team Blake is Red. This country classic should feed right into his fan base and earn him his full potential of support on Twitter. There’s nothing showstopping or unexpected from this performance, but he delivered another consistent performance.
8:48 p.m. – With “Here’s a Quarter, Call Someone Who Cares” is Team Adam (Levine)’s own country crooner Adam (Cunningham). His signature husky vocals have earned him two instant saves already this season. Can he continue that winning streak all the way to the finale?
8:52 p.m. – Singing “Sign of the Times” for his only chance to make it to the finals is Noah from Team Jennifer. It’s a brilliant song choice for the teenager who should be able to wrangle his entire fan base with this. But will it be enough?
8:55 p.m. – Moments into the commercial break it is revealed that Noah has a slight lead with 38% to Red’s 34% and Adam’s 28%. And his lead appears to be shrinking! This will be a nail biter. It looks as though Adam could be out of it and Noah may benefit from two country artists splitting votes. And now Noah and Red are tied at 36% each! Wow!
8:59 p.m. – And the fourth finalist for Season 13 is…Red! Noah and Adam have been eliminated. After winning her first go of it as a coach on “The Voice UK,” Jennifer failed to advance an artist to the finale of her USA debut. The iTunes charts I mentioned earlier proved to be correct! Chloe, Addison, Brooke and Red are your Season 13 finalists.
