On Tuesday, Chris Blue won season 12 of “The Voice” over frontrunner Lauren Duski in the closest vote in the history of the show. Blue, who was mentored by Alicia Keys, had done well on Monday’s final and had scored two songs in the iTunes top 10 : he was in third with the original tune “Money On You” and ninth with his cover of Janet Jackson‘s “Rhythm Nation.”
As part of the promotional push for the final four, Blue made a video version of “Money on You,” which you can watch above. This dance song was crafted by a quartet of talented tunesmiths who have collaborated with some of the top talents in music: Mike Dupree, JHart, Scribz Riley and Talay Riley. And it was overseen by Fifth Harmony‘s producer Tinashe Sibanda.
