The winner of “America’s Got Talent” will be revealed at the end of a live two-hour results show that starts at 8:00 pm Wednesday (Sept. 20) on NBC. The 10 “AGT” finalists performed live onstage at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Tuesday, hoping to win over America with their talent.
The 10 finalists on “America’s Got Talent” 2017 were: singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, child singers Evie Clair and Angelica Hale, singer-songwriters Chase Goehring and Mandy Harvey, dance groups Diavolo and Light Balance, stand-up comedian Preacher Lawson, dog act Sara and Hero, and singer Kechi.
Who will win Season 12 of “America’s Got Talent” and take home the $1 million grand prize and contract to headline a Las Vegas casino show? According to exclusive Gold Derby odds, the winner will be either Farmer or Hale, but the results are too close to call. Hale had opened the evening with a stunning version of “Symphony” by Clean Bandit that had the whole theater cheering. Farmer was the penultimate act and dazzled with her display of ventriloquism, performing with two puppets that did a duet.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Harvey in third place with odds of 28/1, Light Balance in fourth at 50/1, and Lawson in fifth at 66/1. The other five acts — Clair, Diavolo, Goehring, Kechi, and Sara and Hero — are all long-shots with odds of 100/1.
