‘World of Dance’: Predict now whether Les Twins, Eva Igo, or Swing Latino will win the grand finale

On August 1 “World of Dance” held its Division Finals to determine which three world-class acts would advance to the August 8 season finale in the hopes of winning the $1 million grand prize. Upper Division duo Les Twins, Team Division showstoppers Swing Latino, and Junior Division prodigy Eva Igo defeated their respective rivals for the opportunity to win NBC’s inaugural dance contest. But what will happen once the three acts face each other for the first time? You can now make your predictions right here for who will take the title. And vote in our poll below to let us know who you think should win.

The French duo Les Twins won their Upper Division Final against married couple Keone & Mari, and they did it despite one of the brothers sustaining a nasty leg injury. You would think that would have sidelined the competitors for good — how do you win a dance competition without both legs? But they actually managed to incorporate the injury into their dance, which explored themes of class and inequality. The result not only the highest score of the night (97.7), but the highest of the season.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Eva Igo faced her 11-year-old Junior Division opponent Diana Pombo with a fearsome routine that demonstrated her newfound confidence, which had been lacking earlier in the competition. Igo’s fearsome intensity and technique earned her the second highest score of the night (96.7), so she’s certainly capable of giving Les Twins a run for their money.

Swing Latino were the lowest scoring division champions with a nevertheless outstanding total of 94.7 for their high-flying, high-octane performance that incorporated multiple dance styles from across Latin America. The judges didn’t think their performance was as clean as their Team Division rivals Kinjaz, but it had more passion. Do you think they’re the underdogs going into the season finale?

Make your predictions now to let us know who you think will win “World of Dance,” who will finish second, and who will finish third when judges Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough make their final choices. Are we in for a surprise?
