2018 Oscar nominations: Full list of Academy Awards nominees in all 24 categories

Nominations for the 90th Oscars were announced on Tuesday Jan. 23 by Tiffany Haddish (“Girls Trip”) and Andy Serkis (“Planet of the Apes” trilogy) at the academy’s headquarters in Beverly Hills, California. Among those films with the most nominations were “The Shape of Water” and “Dunkirk.” The current favorite to win Best Picture is “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” but final voting doesn’t start until Feb. 20 and then runs for eight days. The Academy Awards ceremony takes place on March 4 and will once again be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and air live on ABC.

Last year, the academy dropped the traditional in-person reveal of the roster of nominees in favor of a live stream of pre-taped announcements. This year, it offered a hybrid, with nine actresses taping introductions of various categories. They were Priyanka Chopra, Rosario Dawson, Gal Gadot, Salma Hayek, Michelle Rodriguez, Molly Shannon, Rebel Wilson, Michelle Yeoh and Zoe Saldana.

At 5:22 a.m. PT/8:22 a.m. ET, nominees were announced in 11 categories: Cinematography, Costume Design, Film Editing, Makeup and Hairstyling, Original Score, Production Design, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Visual Effects, Animated Short Film and Live Action Short Film.

At 5:38:30 a.m. PT/8:38:30 a.m. ET, nominees were announced in the remaining 13 categories:  Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Adapted Screenplay, Original Screenplay, Original Song, Animated Feature, Documentary Feature, Foreign Language Film and Documentary Short Subject.
