2018 Oscars full list of nominations: Every film in the running at the 90th Academy Awards

Oscars Best Picture frontrunner “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” heads into Sunday’s Academy Awards with just seven nominations. That is just over half of the 13 racked up by its closest rival for the top prize, “The Shape of Water.” Our official odds have both films taking home three Oscars apiece.

“Three Billboards” will win Frances McDormand her second Best Actress award for her scorching portrayal of a grieving mother and Sam Rockwell will prevail on his first nomination for his supporting role as a racist cop. The fantasy film “The Shape of Water” will win for director Guillermo del Toro as well as composer Alexandre Desplat and the production design team.

The WWII epic “Dunkirk,” which netted eight nominations, will win three as well: Film Editing and both sound awards. Another film set against the same backdrop, “Darkest Hour,” reaped six bids, with predicted wins for Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill and the makeup and hairstylists who transformed him into this wartime leader.
