7:59 p.m. – “Previously, on ‘Big Brother’!” In Monday’s fifth episode Shannon appeared to be on her way out via Ross’s backdoor plan, until Keshia announced she was quitting. Keshia wanted to return home so that she could continue breastfeeding her child, telling host Julie Chen, “$250,000 isn’t worth more than the health of my child.” Will Shannon find out about her alliance’s decision to try to oust her? Let’s find out!
8:10 p.m. – Following Keshia’s eviction, Omarosa began to understand why people get emotional when houseguests are evicted on “Big Brother.” Marissa is upset she couldn’t use the veto, and we are shown the flashback that led up to the drama on eviction night. Keshia was pleading with the others to send her home. They told her they wanted to evict Shannon, and she was willing to go along with the plan, but she didn’t trust them to send her home the next week. Brandi was furious with Keshia and believes her game will be ruined because of Keshia’s decision. Brandi confronted Keshia in tears, saying she has to provide for her kids too.
8:15 p.m. – Metta doesn’t understand the game, but figured since he is there, he might as well play. He’s upset people sent Keshia home when she wanted to leave, but didn’t extend him the same courtesy. Listen folks! This game isn’t about us watching you volunteer to go home week after week! Grow a pair or stop signing up for reality TV competitions. James made it clear to Shannon that he still trusts her. They think Ross and Marissa still have a plan to go to the final four with them.
8:30 p.m. – It’s time for the HOH competition! Dressed in a captain’s outfit, Ross explained the competition “BB Celebrity Voyages.” The competitors will shoot a round of golf one at a time. The person who gets a hole-in-one from three different tee boxes in the shortest amount of time will win HOH. Ariadna proved she’s more than just a pretty face and won this athletic competition to become the new HOH! Ross is concerned about people over-celebrating because he doesn’t want Shannon to know everyone is gunning for her. #MissHOH
8:40 p.m. – Shannon is thrilled that Ariadna won HOH and is still convinced everyone plans to evict Omarosa. Poor thing. Meanwhile, Ari, Brandi and Omarosa are having a dance party in their bedroom. The question is, will they put up two pawns like Omarosa and Metta? Or will they really shake things up and put both Shannon and Jason on the block? Whatever they decide, Metta has announced he is going to start playing, starting now! Took long enough. He said one person at a time will regret not sending him home Week 1.
8:45 p.m. – Once again, Ross is doing us all a favor and grilling Omarosa about the White House. She said that Melania Trump is a sharp, amazing woman. Meh, no real good dirt there. Back to the game, Ariadna wants Shannon to go home before Jason. Ross proposed nominating Omarosa and Mark. Others disagreed, because there could be a chance they don’t come off the block. After a brief discussion, they decided the best plan was to put Shannon and Jason both on the block. If Shannon wins the veto, send Jason home.
8:55 p.m. – Shannon is frustrated because Metta will not leave the HOH room and she can’t talk to the group about evicting him or Omarosa. Little does she know, the group told Metta not to leave Ariadna’s side. They don’t want Shannon to talk her way out of getting evicted. Shannon goes back downstairs and tells Jason she thinks they have turned on them. She notices that nobody is looking her in the eye and Omarosa is looking far to comfortable. Shannon gives up and goes to bed. Jason is frustrated with her for not fighting and gives a tearful Shannon a pep talk.
8:59 p.m. – Shannon confronted the group right before the nomination ceremony. She said she never lied to any of them and didn’t have a secret alliance with James. But Ariadna breaks things up with her nominations: Jason and Shannon. Jason took it in stride. Shannon is furious and confesses in the diary room that she doesn’t have any fight left in her.
