‘Celebrity Big Brother’ spoiler: Round 3 Power of Veto winner is …

On the Valentine’s Day episode of “Celebrity Big Brother,” the third Head of Household, beauty queen Ariadna Gutierrez  put Shannon Elizabeth, who was the first HoH, and singer James Maslow, who avoided the boot in the first elimination, in Friday’s live vote overseen by host Julie Chen. However, since then there has been a big shift in the house. We have been watching the live feeds and learned a lot, including who won the all-important third Power of Veto competition. Spoilers ahead.

Facing off in the round 3 Black Box challenge were Guitterez, Elizabeth, Maslow and three of the other houseguests: “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Granville, TV personality Ross Mathews, who was the second HoH, and “The Apprentice” alumni Omarosa. Maslow won, thereby throwing a huge wrench in the plans of the alliance led by Mathews that includes Granville, Guitterez and actress Marissa Janet Winokur.

That fearsome foursome had considered a strategy where they sent Elizabeth home via the backdoor. But it was decided, for once in this game of deceit and deception, to be upfront with her. Now she will face someone nominated by Maslow to take his place.
