‘Celebrity Big Brother’ spoiler: Two nominees for eviction by second Head of Household are …

After a full week in the house, tension is running high between the 10 houseguests remaining on “Celebrity Big Brother.” We have been watching the live feeds and learned a lot over the weekend. The early alliance between the six women in the competition has been shattered and one of the four remaining men now holds all of the power. Spoilers ahead.

TV personality Ross Mathews is the new Head of Household and has nominated “The Apprentice” player Omarosa and actress Keshia Knight Pulliam (“The Cosby Show”) for eviction. It’d been reported that Omarosa had to leave the house for medical attention but she has returned to face a jury of her peers. Who will be the second houseguest evicted after UFC mixed martial artist Chuck Liddell?

Mathews is considering swapping out one of his nominees for actress Shannon Elizabeth, who had been the first Head of Household until Pulliam won the Right to Recast. The eviction vote won’t be until Monday (Feb. 12) so a lot could change before then. On Sunday’s episode, host Julie Chen revealed that the all-important Power of Veto competition will take place on Monday too.

Mathews and his ally, actress Marissa Jaret Winokur, are proving to be adept players of the game. Prior to Friday’s live eviction, they had aligned with Elizabeth and singer Jason Maslow, who was on the chopping block. They promised to take them to the final four. Within 24 hours, they were making that same pledge to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville and beauty queen Ariadna Gutierrez.

Mathews told those two women that he was thinking of sending Elizabeth to the jury. He then spun that strategy to Winokur as coming from Granville and Gutierrez rather than himself, thereby undermining her confidence in those two would-be allies.
