Omarosa has already made national headlines on “Celebrity Big Brother” by going after President Donald Trump, but now she’s setting her sights on another target: Vice President Mike Pence. “As bad as y’all think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence,” Omarosa told her fellow reality TV houseguests. “So everybody that’s wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their lives.”
The scene in question took place during a commercial break in Friday’s two-hour live eviction episode, after host Julie Chen informed the houseguests about the latest government shutdown. Omarosa was caught on camera slamming the VP even more, declaring, “We would be begging for the days of Trump back if Pence became president. He’s extremely, ‘I’m Christian, I love Jesus.’ But he thinks Jesus tells him to say things. I’m like, Jesus didn’t say that! Scary.”
So far on CBS’s celebrity edition of “Big Brother,” Omarosa has gone from being in an all-female alliance, to being betrayed by her friends, to being hospitalized for an asthma attack, to being nominated for eviction. And it’s only Week 2!
Back in the second episode Omarosa confessed to TV personality Ross Mathews that the country is in “bad” shape, adding, “It’s gonna not be okay.” When Ross asked whether she’d ever vote for Trump again, Omarosa responded, “God no. Never. In a million years, never.”
CBS is no doubt tickled by all of the extra attention Omarosa has given the reality competition series. So far the ratings are an improvement over last season’s summer cycle, but they’re no match for NBC’s coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics.
