In Thursday’s Season 3 finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” one of the remaining four queens was named the winner by host RuPaul Charles. Shangela, Trixie Mattel, Kennedy Davenport or BeBe Zahara Benet were all hungry for the title, but only one queen received a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, a coveted spot in the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Hall of Fame, and $100,000. So who was crowned the winner and who sashayed away in second, third and fourth places?

7:59 p.m. – Previously, on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”! In last week’s seventh episode Morgan McMichaels was sent home just one week after she returned to the competition. Shangela and Trixie won the comedy movie spoof challenge, with Shangela prevailing at the lip sync battle. Who will win tonight’s grand prize? We can’t wait to find out!
8:01 p.m. – After eliminating Morgan, Shangela feels like she made the right decision and Trixie backs her up by revealing that had she won the lip sync she too would have eliminated Morgan. Everyone agrees that these are the four that deserved to compete for the crown.
8:03 p.m. – The next day, Ru enters the workroom to break the news to the girls that for the finale they’ll have to compose a solo to Ru’s song “Kitty Girl,” learn choreography for a music video and, in a surprise twist, face the eliminated queens who will sit on a jury to judge them. That’s a gasp and a gag!
8:10 p.m. – During rehearsals with Todrick Hall, BeBe tested everyone’s patience in her failed attempts to land the choreography. That isn’t to say the other girls weren’t disappointing Todrick, too. At one point Todrick called them “three hesitant people and one person that is just lost.” But as if the choreography wasn’t hard enough, Todrick then revealed that they’d be traveling with the choreo in one take through the corridors backstage.
8:20 p.m. – To kick off the final runway, the Ru introduces the most elaborate performance set the series has ever seen. In the one continuous take performance through the halls of the Drag Race studios, Kennedy displays perfect execution of choreography, Shangela wows with a fierce rap verse, BeBe serves sex appeal like never before and Trixie puts her glowing personality and comedy front and center. And series judges Carson Kressley, Michelle Visage and Ross Mathews even make cameo appearances!
8:28 p.m. – For their final runway looks, BeBe dons a leopard cat suit, Kennedy walks in a rainbow dress of glittery fire, Shangela looks super fish in an elegant ball gown and Trixie works it in a glamorous black gown. The eliminated queens are seated on the side of the stage, a jury on hand to help Ru make her final decision. The plan is that they’ll meet each of the finalists in the workroom and vote who the top 2 of the season will be. Whhhhhat?!
8:31 p.m. – During final critiques with the judges, Michelle points out that BeBe might not be the best with choreo, but everyone on the panel agrees that her beautiful looks are her strong suit. Kennedy is applauded for bringing a better attitude to this season, but takes a little heat for her over the top finale dress. Carson gags over Shangela and tells her he’s enjoyed her all season and Ross doubles down by saying that she was top notch in the final performance and that her last dress is a 10. Last, the judges reiterate that Trixie struggled at the start of the season, but in the end was able to turn it around and surprise with a different sides to Trixie all season.
8:34 p.m. – Later backstage, BeBe meets the jury of eliminated queens first. One of the toughest questions she was asked was to reveal who she would have brought back and eliminated if given the chance. BeBe held her ground and refused to tell despite the jury asking her point blank that she needs to say it. This could bite her in the ass, to be honest.
8:37 p.m. – Second to testify, Kennedy tells the jury that Drag Race has provided her the opportunity to educate younger generations of drag queens to work hard and tell them what they can become. In a touching moment, Chi Chi DeVayne tells Kennedy how proud she is of her and the rest of the jury backs her up, applauding Kennedy for being inspirational and real.
8:42 p.m. – Shangela is worried about the jury because she sent half of them home, but when asked how she feels about their power to choose the finalists she is honest about her vulnerability in that regard. The main thrust of her pitch is that since her first two seasons, Shangela went back to basics and worked hard to improve her drag. She says she’s already won by being back in the competition and that regardless of their decision she has proven herself.
8:44 p.m. – Last to meet the jury, Trixie is confident and bubbly, owning up to her rough start, but arguing that she successfully turned it around. Thorgy Thor asks her who she’d be most proud to go up against in the finals, and the answer is Shangela. Aja then asks her who’d she eliminate, and she says that BeBe and Kennedy haven’t shown enough growth since their original seasons.
8:53 p.m. – The jury of six voted and the result is… Kennedy and Trixie are the final two! That means Shangela and BeBe are eliminated. The vote was determined by each of the jury picking two queens and the finalists are the ones with the most.
8:56 p.m. – To determine the ultimate winner, the final two lip sync for their legacy to “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus. For this performance, Trixie emotes dramatically and Kennedy, shoeless, passionately dances across the stage.
8:58 p.m. – The jury may have decided the finalists, but who is actually crowned is up to Ru and Ru alone. And she chose… Trixie Mattel! She joins Alaska and Chad Michaels in the All Star Hall of Fame! Congrats, gurl.
