Did you watch “The Amazing Race” on Wednesday (Jan. 17)? After seeing all 9 teams in action as they raced around Morocco in the third leg do you have a favorite pairing that you are rooting for to win the million dollar grand prize?
Yale grads Henry Zhang & Evan Lynyak staged a staggering comeback to finish in first after almost being eliminated in episode two. They made it to the mat just ahead of Indy racers Alexander Rossi and Conor Daly. For their efforts, host Phil Keoghan told them that they had won a trip for two to Switzerland.
Last week, they had faltered in the first Head-to-Head contest in the 30-season history of the show. Conversely, the winners of that leg — “Big Brother” contestants Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf — were relegated to a fifth place finish in episode three.
And while NBA all-stars Cedric Ceballos and Shawn Marion had just missed out on winning leg two, they ended up in last this week. Luckily, it turned out to be a non-elimination leg, leaving the oldest contestants to race another week.
While finishing first in any leg earns a team bragging rights, it is no guarantee of victory at the end of this race around the world. Who do you think will win this 30th edition of “The Amazing Race.” Vote in our poll below and then be sure to make your predictions as to the outcome of episode four, “Gotta Put Your Sole Into it” in which the 9 teams remaining in the race head to Provence, France.
To recap, in order of where they finished on episode three, “It’s Gonna Be a Fragrant Day,” the teams were:
Henry Zhang & Evan Lynyak (Team Yale)
Alexander Rossi & Conor Daly (Team IndyCar)
Kristi Leskinen & Jen Hudak (Team Extreme)
Trevor Wadleigh & Chris Marchant (Team Well Strung)
