After winning the $1 million prize in the Season 30 finale of “The Amazing Race,” Cody Nickson & Jessica Graf announced that they wanted to start a family. “Now we have a foundation as far as money goes to set up a family for ourselves,” Cody told “Amazing” host Phil Keoghan. “Jessica was the foundation for my strength throughout this entire thing,” Cody declared at the finish line. “I wouldn’t have been able to do anything without her. I’m just glad I got to do it with the love of my life.”
Smiling ear-to-ear after winning the $1 million check, Jessica responded, “The future looks really bright and I’m really excited. We’re not going anywhere.”
Cody and Jessica met just months prior to the start of the race after appearing together on “Big Brother.” They soon became a showmance on that reality TV show, but their love was cut short after Jessica was eliminated early and Cody was sent to the jury house. The duo was reunited at the “Big Brother” finale, and then shortly after that they began their journey on “The Amazing Race.” Last week Cody and Jessica announced their engagement.
Dating debators Henry Zhang & Evan Lynyak came in second place on “The Amazing Race” by mere minutes, followed by X-Games athletes Kristi Leskinen & Jen Hudak in third place and Indy car drivers Alex Rossi & Conor Daly in fourth place.
