‘The Voice’: Team Adam Levine power rankings best to worst at midpoint of season 14 battle round

Adam Levine has pitted only four of his dozen artists against each other in the first two battle rounds of “The Voice” on March 19 and 20. Two of them — Rayshun LaMarr and Reid Umstattd — were his picks to move on to the knockout round. While Tish Haynes Keys lost to LaMarr, she was rescued by Clarkson. Levine’s other battle loser, Davison, saw his time on “The Voice” come to an end.

Levine has used both of his steals, picking up Jackie Foster at the end of Battle 1 when Kelly Clarkson went for D.R. King instead after their duet on Harry Styles‘ “Sign of the Times.” Likewise, he offered Jordyn Simone a lifeline at the end of Battle 2 when Alicia Keys dropped him in favor of Kelsea Johnson after their duet on the En Vogue hit “Don’t Let Go (Love).”

We will see Levine winnow his other eight artists – Miya Bass, Angel Bonilla, Mia Boostrom, Drew Cole, Genesis Diaz, Gary Edwards, Stephanie Skipper and Jackie Verna — down to four during the battle episodes on March 26 and 27.

Based on chair turns in the blind auditions, Levine headed into the battle round with the weakest team among the four judges. His 12 artists merited a mere 20 turns among them. We have compiled a power ranking of the 12 artists currently on Team Adam Levine. These would-be winners are listed from best to worst based on their reception in the blind auditions and battles, the resulting sales of their tracks on iTunes and the votes of viewers like you. If you haven’t voted in our poll yet, be sure to do so at the bottom of this post and sound off in the comments section about Levine and his years as a coach on “The Voice.” (Vote in the polls on Team Kelly Clarkson, Team Alicia Keys and Team Blake Shelton too.)
