Background: Kutcher is an American actor and producer who was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. While in college at the University of Iowa, he was recruited to enter a contest for "Fresh Faces of Iowa" modeling competition. After placing first, he moved to New York as a model and then to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Filmography: At his first audition he was cast on the long-running Fox comedy series "That 70s Show," which began in 1998. He also starred in the films "Dude, Where's My Car?," "Just Married," "Guess Who," "Cheaper by the Dozen," "Bobby," "The Butterfly Effect," "The Guardian," "Killers," "What Happens in Vegas," and "Valentine's Day." He has also produced the reality shows "Punk'd," "Beauty and the Geek," "Adventures in Hollywood," "The Real Wedding Crashers," and "Opportunity Knocks." In 2011, he replaced Charlie Sheen on the CBS comedy series "Two and a Half Men."
