Filmography: He had his first major Broadway success and his first Tony Award nomination for the Martin McDonagh play "The Beauty Queen of Leenane" in 1996. He followed with other acclaimed stage performances in "The Lonesome West," "Doubt," and "The Coast of Utopia," which all resulted in additional Tony nominations. He won a Tony Award for his role as a serial killer in "Frozen" in 1998. Film roles have included "Bandits," "Million Dollar Baby," "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead," "No Reservations," "The International," and "Brooklyn's Finest." His television work has included "The Blackwater Lightship," "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," "FlashForward," and his Emmy Award-nominated role in the HBO miniseries "Mildred Pierce" starring Kate Winslet and directed by Todd Haynes.
