Background: Deeley was born in Birmingham, England, and is a television host, actress, and former model. At age 14, she entered a regional BBC competition and was spotted by an agent for the Storm modeling agency.

Filmography: After four years as a model and student, she left the modeling agency and became a host for the UK version of the MTV network. From 1998 to 2002, she hosted the Saturday children's program "SMTV Live" with Ant and Dec. She went on to host "The Record of the Year," "Fame Academy," and "Stars in Their Eyes." In 2006, she replaced Lauren Sanchez as host of the American reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" on the Fox network.
