Background: Radcliffe expressed a desire to act early in childhood and made his acting debut in a 1999 BBC production of Charles Dickens's "David Copperfield," playing the title character as a young boy. He made his film debut in 2001's "The Tailor of Panama."
Filmography: Since 2001, Radcliffe has played Harry Potter in all eight film adaptations of J.K. Rowling's blockbuster series of novels. He also appeared in "December Boys"' (2007) and is currently in production on "The Woman in Black," his first film project after wrapping the "Harry Potter" films.
In addition to his on-screen work, he has also appeared on Broadway in revivals of the play "Equus" in 2007 and "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" in 2011.
