Filmography: His on-screen acting career goes back to 1991 and includes performances in "The Gambler" (1997), "28 Days" (2000), "Chicago" (2002), "300" (2006), and "Centurion" (2010), but he's best known as Det. McNulty on HBO's crime drama "The Wire." He currently stars on the BBC series "The Hour."
