She appeared in the films "The Believer" (2001) and "The Family Stone" (2005) before garnering attention for her recurring role on the medical drama series "Grey's Anatomy," for which she earned an Emmy nomination. She was cast in the starring role on the short-lived comedy series "The Ex-List," after which she played Esme Cullen in the wildly popular "Twilight" films. This year she appeared in multiple episodes of "The Good Wife" and will soon be seen in the Jason Reitman comedy "Young Adult."
