Background: After spending his gap year working in Australia, D'Arcy completed a three-year course at the the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 1995. He began working steadily in British television, in both guest spots on series and TV movies.
Filmography: HIs first major film role was in 2003's "Master and Commander: Far Side of the World." He continues to headline marquee British television films including the recent adapation of Jane Austen's "Mansfield Park"
