Background: Marsden is a singer, actor, and model from Stillwater, Oklahoma. He studied broadcast journalism at Oklahoma State University, but left to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles.
Filmography: His first role was a multiple-episode stint on the sitcom "The Nanny." He also made guest appearances on "Saved By the Bell" and "Party of Five" before appearing in the teen horror film "Disturbing Behavior." He has since played Cyclops in three "X-Men" films and appeared in "Superman Returns" as Lois Lane's boyfriend. He has showed off his musical acting chops as a cast member on "Ally McBeal," in the film adaptation of the Tony-winning musical "Hairspray," and opposite Amy Adams in "Enchanted."
Most recently, Marsden guest starred on the ABC sitcom "Modern Family," starred in the children's comedy "Hop," and the remake of the film "Straw Dogs." He will also play serial killer Charles Manson in "Dead Circus."
