Background: Probst is an American television host, producer, and reporter who was born in Wichita, Kansas. He grew up in Bellevue, Washington, and attended Seattle Pacific University. He then worked at Boeing Motion Picture/Television Studio as a producer and narrator of marketing videos.
Filmography: He started his television career by hosting the program "Backchat" in 1996 on the FX cable network and then went on to host the rock and roll version of the game show "Jeopardy" on VH1 from 1998 to 2001. He became a correspondent on the entertainment program "Access Hollywood" before becoming host of the reality series "Survivor" for CBS in 2000. He is a three-time winner of the category Best Reality Host at the Emmy Awards.
