In the early 1980s, he moved to Los Angeles and started working at The Comedy Store, where he was signed by Rodney Dangerfield to be his opening act on tour.

Filmography: His first major television role was on the short-lived NBC series "The Duck Factory. His breakthrough came when he joined the comedy ensemble cast of the variety series "In Living Color," which gave him the opportunity to showcase his impressions and sketch performing skills.
