Background: As a child, Stewart was cast in several small roles before landing roles as the daughter of Patricia Clarkson in "The Safety of Objects" (2001) and Jodie Foster in "Panic Room" (2002).
Filmography: For the next five years, she appeared in a series of well-received films including "Undertow" (2004), "Speak" (2004) and "Into the Wild" (2007). That year, she landed the part of the heroine Bella in the film franchise "Twilight," based on Stephenie Meyer's best-selling series. The first of these films, "Twilight," was released in the fall of 2008, with the first sequel -- The Twilight Saga: New Moon -- out in the fall of 2009 and the third entry -- "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" -- in theaters in the summer of 2010.
Her other films include "Welcome to the Rileys" (2010) and "The Runaways" (2010).
